The Quidditch Pitch is where the older years come to play and learn about Quidditch. However, there have been spells put in place so no bystanders get hurt. The children when they have passed broom basics are allowed to check out a broom at the office. There they can also check out the other supplies. There is no snitch only the quaffle and bludgers. The bludgers have been modified to not hit as hard as their counterparts in Hogwarts. The brooms too have a height and speed restriction on them.
