• 1926 - Tom Marvolo Riddle was born to Merope Gaunt & Tom Riddle at Wool's Orphanage
  
• 1937 - Tom Riddle learns he's a wizard and told about Hogwarts

1938-1945 Hogwarts

• 1938-39 - Sorted into Slytherin
  
• 1942-43 - Made Prefect
  
• 1943
  - Learned about Riddle Senior from his Uncle Morfin
  - Killed his father & grandparents
  - Altered Morfin's memory
  - Took Gaunt/Peverell ring
  
• 1943-44
  - Learned about Horocruxes
  - Started to gather his Death Eaters
  - Opened the Chamber of Secrets.
  - Death of Moaning Myrtle
  - Rubeus Hagrid expelled from Hogwarts
  - Received an award for Special Service to the School
  - Created first horocrux
  
• 1944-45
  - Made Headboy
  - Medal of Magical Merit
  
• 1946
  - Sweet talked Helena Ravenclaw to confiding whereabouts of Ravenclaw Diadem
  - Graduated Hogwarts
  - Approached Headmaster Dippet about DADA position & turned down

Life after Hogwarts

• 1946 - 1970
  - Went abroad in search of Ravenclaw's diadem
  - Turned the diadem into Horcrux
  - Turned down polotics to take job at Borgin & Burkes
  - Stole Slytherin's locket & Hufflepuff's cup
  - Murdered previous owner and arranged the house elf to take the blame
  - Killed a tramp to make the locket and cup into Horcruxes
  - Sought DADA postion & turned down by Dumedore
  - Cursed the DADA position
  - Hid diadem in Room of Requirement
  
• 1970's
  - Physical appearance began to distort
  - Consorted w all sorts of nefarious people
  - Openly took on the name Voldemort
  - Death Eaters became known
  - Giants and werewolves joined Voldemort's ranks
  - Goblins restricted from wand use
  - Dumbledore founded the Order of the Pheonix
